Our Mission
Angels' Castle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serve young adults with intellectual disabilities through educational programs, entertainment, medical and therapy services, and compassionate care so as to promote independence and personal growth.
Our Connection
As family members of a teenager with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and apraxia, Dr. Porras, her husband, Dr. Ryes, and their oldest son, Louie, know the uncertainty of what the future may hold for any individual with intellectual disabilities. As we grow old, they grow up, and they will need a nurturing environment that can provide the needed support for a happy and fulfilling life. This life-long journey is our inspiration to provide compassionate and therapeutic care for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Our Founding
Angels’ Castle was created in 2018 with the vision of enriching the future of our loved ones with special needs. We have dedicated a 20-acre property surrounded by beautiful trees, a creek and wildlife in Springfield Township, Cincinnati OH. On this land, we are building a state of the art educational and recreational campus with residential options, all geared towards supporting our participants in finding fulfilment and pursuing their passions.
